Pitch allocation times
The AGT board, following feedback from bookmakers and approval from the bookmaker associations, has agreed that the current pitch allocation times should persist but that the AW Tattersalls and Rails allocations will be a minimum of 45 minutes. For turf meetings, Tattersalls and Rails allocations will be a minimum of one hour.
In effect, this will add 15 extra minutes to the Tattersalls and Rails allocation times at
To re-emphasise, all race meetings where the established pitch allocation times are already longer than this - for instance, Festival and premium meetings - will remain unchanged.
These new arrangements will commence on 1 January 2010.
